Income League Review: What Matt Should Tell You (But Won’t)

Income League Review Scam or Legit

Today we’re doing a review of Income League by Jamie Lewis and Matthew Neer.

They claim this is THE legit system you need to crack your first $10,000 month online, but in this review, I’m going to show you Income League is not as it might seem.

The Hyped Up Sales Pitch

The 14-minute sales video has Jamie Lewis and Matthew Neer sitting around a table on some rooftop somewhere telling us how awesome and life-changing Income League is.

Matt claims this is the system he's been using to make affiliate commissions wherever he is around the world.

They tell you with Income League, making money online is as easy as posting a few free ads a couple of times a day and that Matt is going to finally reveal the online income secrets that made him $1,000 today, $8,000 last week and $58,000 last month.

We're told there's nothing complicated about what he does – it's 100% foolproof and if we can copy and paste a few emails then we can make as much money as we want.

In case we're not yet convinced, we're shown a ton of Clickbank earnings screenshots and a few success stories from people who have already signed up and achieved success with Income League.

what is income league about

But I'm guessing you're here right now because something in your gut is telling you there's something not quite right about this, and you'd be absolutely right.

To find out once and for all whether Income League is a scam or legit I decided to sign up myself and give you the lowdown.

Here's a quick summary of what I found out:

Income League Review At A Glance

About: Income League is a short course on how to set up landing pages and drive traffic through email solo ads.

Price: $47 with $493 in upsells plus paid solo ads at $19.95/month and your ad spend.

Pros: 60-day refund policy. Affiliate marketing is a legit online business model.

Cons: Deceptive sales page, fake testimonials and outdated methods.

Verdict: Income League is a get-rich-quick scam. It’s impossible to make the money they claim with the expensive and ineffective traffic methods they teach.

OVERALL RATING

0.5 Star Rating NEW

There’s no way you can make money pasting free ads across the internet. This is pure crazy land stuff.

Matt and Jamie are serial product launchers with dozens of get-rich-quick programs under their belts.

Over the years they’ve built up a whole army of money-hungry affiliates behind them who are ready to promote whatever BS they come up with to make a quick buck.

Income League calls itself a revolutionary new way of making money that is so easy anyone can do it, but that’s very misleading because once you get inside the training area you’re in for a huge letdown.

While there are some short training videos, they are all based around the worn-out method of building a landing page and buying solo ads to drive traffic.

Trust me when I say there’s nothing new or remotely revolutionary here and I wouldn’t waste my time with this if I were you.

What Is Income League?

Income League is essentially a short training course on how to set up a landing page and drive traffic to that landing page through paid solo ads.

These email swipes are anything but free, meaning right off the bat we know Matt wasn't being completely honest with us in his sales video when he talked about “posting free little ads across the internet”.

Furthermore, this is a very old and outdated way to make money. Yes, you might be able to make a few commissions here and there if you're lucky, but you'll have to pay out a lot upfront with no guarantee you'll be able to recoup your costs.

Solo ads aren't cheap either… as well as paying a $19.95 per month membership fee to Udimi, you should expect to pay $0.35-$0.95 per click with most of these emails being sent to people in third world countries like India and Bangladesh who are already inundated with daily truckloads of spam.

The end result?

You might get a few clicks but you're really going to struggle to get any sales.

The Income League Training

Pay your $47 and you're hit immediately with 3 Income League upsells:

  • Done-for-you email campaigns – $199
  • Vendor Secrets training – $97 reduced to $67
  • Access to a library of Matt's past webinars – $197 discounted to $77

Skip those and you'll finally get inside Income League's training area, which looks like this:

income league email marketing training

You'll find a series of short videos lasting a total of 90 minutes where Matt shares his screen and takes you through some of the basics of how to create a landing page, how to choose what Clickbank products to promote and how to drive that all-important traffic through solo ads.

The training itself is quite detailed and Matt does a good job of laying it all out.

My main issue is that this is one of the worst ways to make money with affiliate marketing – it's a tired and outdated method that might've worked better 10 or 15 years ago but it rarely does now.

And honestly, I am so bored with seeing so-called successful internet marketers touting this worn-out method of creating sales pages for scammy Clickbank products and paying out for email swipes expecting to make $1,000's a day. I'm sorry but it's just not going to happen.

Income League Pros

1. Affiliate Marketing Has HUGE Earning Potential

What Matt's advocating here is a form of affiliate marketing, albeit a very old-fashioned way of going about it.

When done right, affiliate marketing can be extremely lucrative… but why limit yourself to promoting low-quality Clickbank products?

The truth is there are almost 600 million affiliate products and services you can promote without spending a dime.

But it gets even better:

With affiliate marketing, there's NO inventory, NO shipping and NO customer support to worry about because you're making money promoting other people's products and earning 10-75% commissions!

I started out as an affiliate marketer in 2015 and I've never looked back.

Check out my free step-by-step affiliate marketing guide for beginners to discover exactly how I:

  • Was finally able to quit the crappy call centre job I hated so much
  • Booked a one-way ticket to Thailand
  • Make at least $7,000 per month each and every month
  • Earned over $1,200 in one day
  • Officially became a Wealthy Affiliate super affiliate and got an all-expenses-paid trip to Las Vegas in 2020.

And I am just getting started!

I achieved all of this without promoting scammy Clickbank products, paying out for expensive paid ads or spamming the heck out of email inboxes because I took the time to learn affiliate marketing the RIGHT way and because I wasn't afraid to hustle.

2. There's A 60-Day Refund Policy

Another plus of Income League is that the $47 one-time joining fee is covered by Clickbank's 60-Day Money-Back guarantee so if you do go ahead and sign up and then instantly regret it, you'll be able to get all your money back with no questions asked.

Already bought it and have buyer's remorse? Here's how to get a Clickbank refund.

Income League Cons

1. Income League's Sales Page Is Downright Deceptive

There's just no way of getting around this:

Matt's hyped-up sales pitch deliberately deceives you into thinking all you have to do is buy Income League and you'll be working just a couple of hours a day and making fast and easy money.

And what about the free ads Matt told us about?

They don't even exist.

If you don't have a big budget to pay for ads then exactly how are you going to make money with this? Annoy everyone on Facebook with spammy links?

Yeah, good luck with that…

People are smarter on social media these days and nobody just clicks on spammy-looking links anymore.

At the end of the day, despite the hyped-up sales pitch, Matt is not giving his viewers a realistic way to make money online and this is nowhere nearly as easy as he likes to make out.

His friend Jamie Lewis is no better either – he's conned 1,000's of people out of their hard-earned cash through his CashGrab, Profit365 and Wealthy Agency scams.

2. Matt Asked His Buddies To Give Fake Testimonials

About 8 minutes into his sales pitch, Matt tells us we don't have to take his word for how life-changing Income League is and shows us some member success stories as proof this really does work.

We are told these are just average people making big money online following the Income League system:

income league fake testimonials

This would be fine, except I remember I've seen these people before. Yep, that's right, these same people have made video testimonials for a bunch of other Matt Neer and Jamie Lewis products.

Here's a screenshot of video testimonials from Lewis' SpeedWealth system:

review of matthew neer income league

Here's another screenshot showing the same people sharing their success with Wealth Ascension:

why income league is a scam

The upshot of all of this is this:

You can't trust a word these guys tell you – they see absolutely nothing wrong with showing us 100% fake testimonial videos just as long as we hand over our bank details and give them our cash.

The question you should ask yourself is if Income League was a legitimate solution to making money online then why not just show us real success stories from real members?

My best guess is they can't and that should be enough to ring alarm bells.

3. Solo Ads Are A Money-Losing Game

There are tons of different ways to get traffic, but the one way Matt Neer says is the best for anyone starting out is solo ads where you pay some email spammer you know very little about to send out your email to the 1,000's of people on his list.

Or in other words, spamming.

Aside from being completely unethical, it just doesn't work practically either. First, you're going to have to find a legit solo ad vendor and that's easier said than done. In many cases they just send you fake “bot” traffic.

How do I know?

Because around 5 years ago when I was still figuring out how to make this online thing work, I ended up forking out this guy for 10,000 clicks and did NOT make a single sale. It turned out it was nothing but 100% “bot” traffic and there was nothing I could do about it.

And this is just one example of how easy it is to blow your money trying to make this work. It's frustrating, time-consuming and could end up extremely costly.

Is Income League A Scam?

Let's quickly recap what we've uncovered so far:

Matt and Jamie have a very shady history.

Both of these guys are famous for creating so-called get-rich-quick schemes that are here today, gone tomorrow.

These people think it’s OK to lie about their product.

They told us on their sales page that making money with Income League is as easy as posting a few little free ads, only to make members pay out for expensive and ineffective solo ads.

Matt tries to convince us this is legit by giving us made up success stories.

Yet another example of how these guys operate – just tell us what we want to hear even if that means feeding us with fake testimonials.

These all point to Income League being yet another work from home scam and you deserve better.
