After reviewing more than 100 make money online opportunities and courses, I can definitely say eCom Success Academy is one of the few I can describe as comprehensive training.

But is this an impressive course through and through or will it just scam 1000s of dollars from you?

So today I’m going to run you through what eCom Success Academy is, give you a complete overview of what you can expect from the training, reveal if it’s a scam or not, and tell you my personal thoughts on it.

What Is eCom Success Academy?

eCom Success Academy is Adrian Morrison’s Shopify dropshipping course. It was launched in 2017 but gets yearly updates to keep the course “fresh”. 

In 2019, Adrian updated the course to include:

• FaceBook optimization updates
• Additional print-on-demand strategies
• Instagram ads
• Live 30-day bootcamp

In essence, this course will teach you how to pick a profitable niche, how you can create ads, leverage social media, and scale your store. 

Admirably, eCom Success Academy is 1 of the 9 approved education partner English courses of Shopify. 

This is pretty impressive, and it gives you a weighty reason to trust this course knowing Shopify itself find it a credible training. 

Who Is Adrian Morrison?

Adrian is self-confessed entrepreneur, marketer, author, mentor, and FaceBook marketing expert.

His website shows stats of his social media following together with the number of his email subscribers and students.

His YouTube channel with 21,200 subscribers has content mostly covering dropshipping, Shopify, and FaceBook marketing. 

He is also the brother of infamous scammer Anthony Morrison.

How Much Does eCom Success Academy Cost?

eCom Success Academy’s course costs a staggering $2,495. However, if you can’t afford the course for a one-time pay, you can opt for a 3-payment term where you pay $997 for 3 succeeding months. 

If you choose the 3-payment term, you’ll pay a total of $2,991. 

For its price you get 317 videos for a 7-module course plus bonuses of weekly live coaching, a mini email marketing course, videos on how you can build your team, case studies, and a product sniper software. 

It’s really expensive if you ask me. But if you think the whole training and the bonuses are worth it, coupled with the fact it’s part of Shopify’s approved education partner then it’s really up to you if you have a thick enough wallet for it. 

However just remember that Adrian doesn’t offer refunds. If you pay him for the course, you won’t be able to get your money back when you later on feel it’s not for you. 

Inside eCom Success Academy’s Training

eCom Success Academy gets you 317 screen recording and tutorial videos which runs a total of 40 hours and 28 minutes. 

Other than the comprehensive training you also get:

Module 1: Shopify (48 lessons; 11 hours and 29 minutes)

Module 1 will teach you about Shopify from setting up your store down to promoting it. This module is divided into 8 sections:

Module 2: Sourcing Products (12 lessons; 7 hours and 25 minutes)

In this section, Adrian will teach you how to pick “winning products”. He will teach you how to find the best products to sell and how you can set up your orders. 

He goes through a number of platforms and give you a good picture on how you find products from each one of them, so you choose which platform you’re most comfortable with. 

Like the 1^st module, this module is also divided into subsections.

Module 3: Facebook (79 lessons; 18 hours and 12 minutes)

Module 3 will cover how you can make the most out of Facebook marketing. Adrian will teach you the nooks and crannies of Facebook marketing together with the personal strategies he uses. 

He will teach you how to find your target audience, how to choose the right keywords, some a/b testing to see which campaigns work, and advanced strategies so you can scale your ads. 

This basically means aside from the whopping training cost, you also have to spend for ads which goes around $100 or more per month.

In this module, Adrian will teach you how to turn one-time buyers to life-long ones. He’ll teach you the importance of email marketing to keep one-time buyers coming back for more or how you can do so. 

He doesn’t cover this topic in-depth but just the basics. Adrian will teach you about:

• Setting up Mailchimp
• Email templates
• Free and retail offer promos
• Mailing non-clickers or openers
• 3-day pro formula

Module 5: Build You’re A-Team (7 lessons; 55 minutes)

Running a business alone can be daunting. Adrian will teach you how you can build your own group of people to automate parts of your business. 

This is not necessarily for those just starting out but will be really helpful once you scale and have more tasks to finish that’s more than one man can handle. 

Adrian will explain the benefits of hiring freelancers to cover:

• Product management
• Product research
• Customer service
• Social media management

Module 6: Project Management (4 lessons; 1 hour and 11 minutes)

Adria touched a bit on this on the previous module but he’ll cover this more comprehensively in this section. 

He’ll teach you how to design tasks your A-team will execute to achieve efficient deliveries. 

Module 7: Long-term Exit Plan (1 lesson; 12 minutes)

Few people teach you how to exit your business, Adrian is one of them. If you decide to sell your business to move on to another venture, he’ll teach you how you can do it.

Even if you don’t think of selling your business, the information in this module is still worth considering. 

Adrian will talk about:

• Profit and loss formula
• Assets that add value

Will You Make Money with eCom Success Academy?

Making money with training like eCom Success Academy greatly depends on you. No matter how expensive and in-depth the training is if you just around waiting for the apple to fall, nothing will happen.

You’ll see results once you do your best to put the training in action, pick the right products to sell, and create the right ad campaigns for the right audience. 

There’s no absolute guarantee with whatever training you find online. If the creator made money from it, it doesn’t necessarily that you will too. 

Although it’s good to note eCom Success Academy does a great job of teaching you about dropshipping. 

Knowing it’s a Shopify approved course is a very big plus. It means Shopify checked it out and saw it fit to be teaching others too. 

Still, making money from it depends on the effort you put in.

Is eCom Success Academy A Scam?

No, eCom Success Academy is not a scam. Being accredited by Shopify is one reason to prove it’s legit. Another reason it’s legit it because it covers the ins and outs of dropshipping every beginner should know. 

My Thoughts On eCom Success Academy

eCom Success Academy’s creator Adrian Morrison definitely knows what he’s talking about. His relaxed teaching style adds to the plus factor. 

Unlike low-quality training you can find online, eCom Success Academy has great sound and video quality. 

If you have the budget for it, eCome Success Acamedy is a good training to take if you want to learn about dropshipping.

Personally though, I prefer affiliate marketing. 

It also involves choosing a niche, making a website for it, and finding the right audience to promote products. 

However, with affiliate marketing, you won’t have to deal with customer service and all other complexities you’ll experience with dropshipping.

Affiliate marketing means you promote other people’s products for a commission when it sells. So, the inventory, logistics, and customer service will be covered by the vendor, not by you which means less hassle on your part.

Plus, I don’t really fancy ongoing monthly ads cost. I’d rather focus on my niche website and create search engine optimized content to drive traffic. 

This is a more affordable and sustainable solution especially if you’re just starting out online. 

For affiliate marketing, Wealthy Affiliate offers an in-depth course. Like eCom Success Academy, Wealthy Affiliate covers all the ins and outs of the business, but this time with affiliate marketing. 

Unlike the latter though, Wealthy Affiliate is way more affordable with just a $49 monthly cost.
