Is Overnight Millionaire A Scam? No, But Here’s What I Learned

Sometimes we get too caught up in a product’s name thinking it perfectly describes what you can expect from it. Sadly, it’s not always the case and Overnight Millionaire is no exception. Is it a scam? You’re about to find out.

To set your expectations this early on, I’d just like to tell you Overnight Millionaire is not a technical make money online course. You won’t get anything about setting up a website and monetizing it with offers.

Overnight Millionaire is a mindset course. Its purpose is to shape your outlook and conviction. But I won’t get ahead of myself, I’ll explain it all a bit later.

In this review, you’re going to know what Overnight Millionaire is and what you can expect when you buy it. I’ll also tell you what I think about it, the pressing question if it’s a scam or not, and an alternative if you see Overnight Millionaire doesn’t fit your needs.

What Is Overnight Millionaire, Really?

Overnight Millionaire is an online mindset course put together by Wesley Virgin.  Wesley is said to be a successful affiliate marketer and he made this course to supposedly help others be as successful as him.

The funny thing is, the sales page doesn’t live up to his experience as a supposed “successful marketer”. It’s too gimmicky to start with. It’s not as long as what you commonly see because they’ve packed all the hype in the 40+ minutes sales video.

To try and get you to stay for the whole time, he’ll tell you: “97.5% cannot watch the video until the end because they lack focus and concentration.”

You don’t want to be described as someone like that, so you’ll be subtly forced to stay until the video is over.

It’s quite annoying how Wesley shifts the blame on you and away from his boring hype-y sales video.

If you decide to buy the course (which I really hope you don’t), you’ll be led to an order page with a low-quality video embedded on it. You can see how cheaply is done because the watermark is still there.

Overnight Millionaire Order Page

I guess Wesley didn’t take much effort in making it more aesthetically pleasing revealing how little care he had for this product.

I’m not saying it’s a churn and burn, but it looks like it.

Now if you’re looking for training on how to make money online, you won’t get it in Overnight Millionaire. This $32.71 course is mainly on the mindset component, there’s no technical training here. Wesley doesn’t teach you about the strategies he uses.

To get mindset training is one thing, but practically, you also have to learn about what online business model to pursue, how to pick offers, how to pitch them, how to use conversion strategies, and everything in between.

So, it’s safe to say Overnight Millionaire is not for complete beginners in the make money online sphere. You don’t get training from scratch here.

Misleading Title

I just wanted to be upfront here. You won’t be an overnight millionaire if you buy this mindset course. It took Wesley months, even years to get to where he is now. So, calling the training Overnight Millionaire is a lot misleading.

Frankly, though, nobody became a millionaire online overnight. Well unless there’s something dirty going on. But if we’re talking about the legit ways, it will take you more than 24 hours to make a sustainable income online.

I’m not trying to discourage you here; I’m just setting your expectations right. Because when you completely know what you signed up for, you’re not going to end up disappointed when you don’t see results as fast as you want them to be.

What You Get In Overnight Millionaire’s Training

Inside Overnight Millionaire’s members’ area, you get a mix and match of topics, some with videos, others with mp3 files. I find the overall training kind of old, but I’ll leave that for later.

For now, I’d like to talk about what you get immediately when you land in the members’ area.

As usual, you’ll get an intro video, but I’d like to bring your attention to what it says right below the video.

Overnight Millionaire Order Page

He’ll get you to commit for 90 days to get results when the refund is only good for 60 days. By the time you realize this won’t work for you, your money back period will be long over.

The worst part?

He calls it Overnight Millionaire when it’ll take you 3 months to supposedly see results!

Overnight Millionaire Topics

You’ll see the topics listed on the left-hand side. You’ll mostly get a video and a bit of description for each topic.

Overnight Millionaire Topics

There’s a part where he’ll tell you about his story to supposedly give you some inspiration. Just don’t get your hopes up, because the disclaimer clearly says it’s not guaranteed to get you the same results as his.

Overnight Millionaire Disclaimer

After a bit of storytelling, he’ll talk about determining your reason for doing what you’re doing in the section: “What’s Your Why?”

Overnight Millionaire What Is Your Why

Funny how much he capitalizes on emotional manipulation your why should make you cry. Again, I see another evidence of the little dedication he has for this training. It looks like the video is recorded using a phone.

I have nothing wrong with using a phone, but at least he could’ve used a better format, doing it in landscape mode. It just looks too rushed.

Here's Wesley in his YouTube channel talking about Overnight Millionaire, again, in a bad video format:

The good thing is, the next couple of sections have properly formatted videos.

In this section he’ll tell you to make journal, which to me as a good advice, until he tells you to buy the journal from Amazon he pitches.

Overnight Millionaire What Is Your Why

At this point, I don’t know if the journal is meant to help you or meant to get him some commissions.

Aside from the journal, in another section, he’ll pitch you a supplement which is kind of odd to find in a make money online type of training.

Overnight Millionaire Supplement Pitch

After the supplement, he’ll pitch you with books you should read.

Overnight Millionaire Promoted Books

There’s also a section where he talks about the mindset of celebrities like Jim Carrey, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Oprah Winfrey, and Will Smith.

Overnight Millionaire Celebrity Mindset

You can’t really for sure if what he says is mere folklore or whatnot. At least he could’ve added some references to validate some claims like written or video interviews from those celebrities talking about the mindset they have.

Here’s a section I find really funny:

As some technique to get you in the “millionaire mindset” he’ll let you listen to what he calls “supernatural frequencies. I’m on the brink of saying it’s absurd unless he provides some scientific background on this gimmick.

Overnight Millionaire Supernatural Frequencies

Another kicker is:

He also has a section on persuasion psychology which I doubt works because his sales video didn’t really make me convinced in anything.

All throughout the sections, you’ll get videos in mismatched formats, mp3s files, “supernatural frequencies, and so on. I feel that everything is not stringing together. I’m not sure what the goal is with each section.

I’d prefer it if he has some kind of checklist to give you a clear picture of what he wants you to achieve in each section. It will make his training more structured and not just seem like some random mindset hullaballoos.

Just to be clear, some of the stuff you learn in Overnight Millionaire is ok, it has some value. Because true enough, when you want to make money online, you have to have a mindset to keep you focused.

Especially because you can’t guarantee you’ll get the income you want when you want them. Mindset really helps, but it’s not everything. You also have to know about the technical stuff like how affiliate marketing works and how you pick offers.

Wesley is good in delivery, he’s very energetic, he’s charismatic but it’s not all you need.

You have to learn about the practical ways you can make money online, you have to apply what you learn, and of course learn about having the right mindset, something you get from getting in touch with other successful marketers in training like Wealthy Affiliate.

Granted, Wesley has a module on making money from scratch which he touched a bit on Overnight Millionaire, his Online Mastery Millionaire Course, but it’s for another cost, a monthly cost that is.

The downside is instead of telling you about the training, he’ll continue blabbing about the mindset stuff, so you don’t really get a clear picture of what you get in the training. Doesn’t mention anything practical you can get about the training.

This might be for another review but just a bit on Wesley’s Online Mastery Millionaire Course, the majority of it teaches about how you can be an Amazon affiliate. It’s quite old though because the videos are from 3 years back.

Plus, you’ll really know it’s old because he talks about pitching a dog product on Facebook groups will get you a 10-15% commission when someone opt-in. The commission rate is true years back but currently, pet products only yield 3% commission.

He’ll also promote ClickFunnels which quite strange because you don’t see using it himself.

Anyway, back to Overnight Millionaire, there’s no real format to the training and the quality is not that great for its price. I expected better. Totally not for complete beginners.

Pros Of Overnight Millionaire

  • Some of the section topics has value

Cons Of Overnight Millionaire

  • The training title is misleading
  • There are lots of upgrades you should buy
  • Some of what he teaches is outdated
  • The disclaimer disproves the overnight millionaire hype

Is Overnight Millionaire A Scam?

No, Overnight Millionaire is not a scam because there are some decent topics in the training. However, if you’re looking to learn about making money online from scratch, this won’t teach you what you need because all you get from it are mindset topics.

Where Do You Go From Here?

Wesley didn’t become a millionaire overnight. His training won’t do so for you too. If you have some extra cash for training solely on mind-setting, you can go ahead and try it, just note about upgrades you have to buy along the way and some outdated topics.

However, if you’re looking for a “package training”, one where you’ll practically learn about making money online, applying what you learn with it, and getting the mindset help for other successful marketers, Wealthy Affiliate is the way to go.

You’ll see how structured the training is when you test the waters out for the free 1st 10 lessons.

You don’t have to take my word for it, you can try it out yourself starting with this in-depth Wealthy Affiliate review you should read.
