OVERALL RATING
What is Speak Up Surveys?
I headed over to the website and my first impressions were that this site is pretty simple, they have a basic sign up form with the option of creating an account through Facebook. I can also see they've been around since 2006 which is always a good sign.
In the footer they tell you they're powered by ClearVoice Research, the company behind Project Payday and Clear Voice Surveys.
While I've certainly seen worse, I sat down and worked out that the absolute maximum you can expect to earn with them is $10 a month and that's being optimistic.
Maybe this site will fair slightly better though. Let's take a look.
How does Speak Up Surveys work?
Speak Up Surveys basically acts as a middleman between companies looking for feedback and consumers willing to give that feedback.
Businesses will pay Speak Up for honest opinions about their latest products or promotional campaigns and pass some of those earnings on to you.
Here's how you get started:
Step 1. Create your free account
Just fill in the sign up form, confirm your email address and fill out the profile questionnaires so they can send you surveys you're most likely to qualify for.
Step 2. Check your inbox for invites
The frequency of survey invites will vary based on your personal circumstances and will take anywhere from 15 – 45 minutes to complete for an average payout of $0.50 to $3.00.
Each survey you take also gives you an entry into Speak Up Survey's monthly sweepstakes which give you the chance of winning up to $1000.
Step 3. Cash out
Once you reach the minimum $5 cashout threshold you can choose to cashout via a PayPal deposit or Amazon gift card.
One of the biggest complaints when it comes to paid survey sites like this is it can take you a long time just to reach the $5 amount needed to withdraw your earnings, with some users saying that the surveys are few and far between and not paying enough for your time.
How much does Speak Up Surveys pay out?
One thing I really like about this site is that they're very upfront about the limited earning potential of their site.
In response to the question “Will I get rich taking surveys?” right on the homepage they say:
“No, you won't get rich. But, you can earn some great rewards and line your pockets with a little extra cash each month.
Our goal is to provide you with as many surveys as we can qualify you for, but we also won't lie to you; you're not going to become a millionaire simply by taking online surveys!”
I've got to respect their honesty. At least they're not giving us exagerrated earnings claims and being realistic about this as an online income opportunity.
Yes, you could possibly win $1,000 through the sweepstakes but your chances of being chosen are extremely low so I wouldn't go ahead and bank on this as being a huge money maker.
My personal thoughts on Speak Up Surveys
I think Speak Up Surveys is a legit site and if you're someone who is looking for an easy way to earn a few extra dollars here and there for giving your honest opinion then you might like this site.
They're free to join, they do pay out and their earnings are probably in the mid-range of what survey sites offer these days.
But will SpeakUpSurveys.com provide you with a decent income stream to help provide for you and your family? I think not…
Yes, you can make some money but no more than $10 a month and you're basically handing over your personal information for pocket change.
If anyone's making any decent money with this site it's the owners themselves who only pass only a very small percentage of the income you're generating for them as a token gesture to keep you coming back.
Is Speak Up Surveys right for you?
So should you go ahead, create your account and start answering survey questions through SpeakUpSurveys.com?
Honestly, when you work out the amount of time you're going to need to spend to sign up, complete the profile surveys and fill out the actual surveys it doesn't come out to more than $0.25 – $1.00 an hour.
That's way lower than the national minimum wage!
If you're looking to build a serious income stream for yourself then why not look at building an online business for yourself that will generate money for you around the clock.
I followed this free beginners training course 4 years ago that shows you how to do this step-by-step and now I'm earning more than $6,000 a month.
Yes, you're going to need to invest the time and effort to make your business grow initially, but the amount has the potential to overtake your full-time income for years to come.

Thank you for this great review of Speak Up Surveys. While it certainly isn’t a great money maker, I’m glad they are very honest and upfront on what you’ll really earn on their site. I’m involved with a certain number of survey sites so with those combined, it helps to make some decent cash each month. I just might add Speak Up Surveys to the list.
