Is the dollars plug a scamEarn $10 for a 10 second task?

And all you need to do is register for free and share your link?

Sounds perfect! Where do I sign up?

But you and I know that some things are not always as they seem… but is the Dollars Plug a scam? Yes.

In this review I'm going to expose this Dollars Plug scam for what it is.

What is the Dollars Plug exactly?

This is a great question, because the website just wants you to sign up without telling you anything about what the Dollars Plug is really about.

DollarsPlug.com is website tha popped up in March 2017 with just a single page low-quality page with a very strange name, a crappy logo and not much else…

what is dollars plug

Seriously though – there's no terms and conditions, no privacy policy, no earnings disclaimer, no nothing.

This in itself is proof Dollars Plug is a total scam you should definitely avoid and whatever you do, do not give this internet scam artist any of your personal information!

4 clear signs Dollars Plug is a scam

1. We have no idea who the owner is

Any proud owner of a website that legitmately helps people make money online would have no issues with putting his name to it.

At the very least you'd expect a link to a Facebook page or Twitter account, but this scammer really doesn't want you to know who he is. This is a huge red flag!

2. No job details given

dollarsplug review
How exactly?

If this was a legit work from home opportunity then even a very basic outline of the type of work involved wouldn't be too much to ask for.

Instead, he just wants your details so he'll just tell how much money you can make with no earnings proof or explanation of how you'll much money.

3. This is a common link posting scam that doesn't make any sense logically

Once you sign up to Dollars Plug you'll get a unique referral link that you can use to copy and paste to spam the likes of Facebook, Twitter, online forums, YouTube comment areas and so on.

This guy claims you'll earn $10 just for getting someone to click on your ‘Dollars Plug’ referral link, whether they sign up or not…

Have you ever heard the saying “If it sounds too good to be true it probably is”?

This is not a valid business model because it makes no sense on any level. I can set up a Google Pay Per Click campaign (which I do regularly) and get people clicking on my links for just $0.10-$0.30 a pop, so why would anyone pay $10 for it?

You can even use the Facebook advertising platform and pay just $0.25 a click so what is the value of paying you $10 to refer people and how is this even viable?

I'll tell you how it's viable, it's really quite simple – the scammer never pays out.

4. The catch is… you'll never actually get paid

dollarsplug.com scamThat's right, even if you meet the minimum $300 threshold you'll never receive a penny of it.

It doesn't matter how much you see that number go up in the top right of the website, the fact of the matter is you're never going to get paid.

You'll never find anyone who has actually got paid with this (if you have be sure to comment below).

When you try to cash out you'll be asked to jump through hoops to try and be eligible. Some people say they're asked to fill out surveys or sign up for offers they have to pay for and still don't get paid out.

How the Dollars Plug scam works

the dollar plus scam reviewBut the sign up is FREE so how can Dollars Plug be a scam?

Never underestimate what a scammer can do with your email address and password.

This scammer is running many worldwide scams with the sole intention of accessing your PayPal accounts, stealing your personal information to empty out your bank accounts.

The Dollar Plug scammer makes money off of you by:

1. Flooding your inbox with spam

If you've alreadys signed up to this then you've already experienced an avalanch of spam emails spilling into your inbox.

These are all advertising offers that the scammer will earn a % commission on every time you sign up for them.

2. Selling your personal information on to numerous 3rd parties

There are no end of email spammers out there who would love to get a hold of your email address, and will pay someone a respectable sum for a list of say 1,000 or 10,000 email addresses.

This scammer will not think twice before selling your personal information on to countless others who in turn will do the same. In the end, unless you've got strong spam filter settings, you're inbox will be rendered unusable.

3. Asking you to complete paid offers with the promise of getting paid

I've read reviews online from people who have accumulated more than $300 in their fake Dollars Plug accounts but when they try to cash out they have to sign up for other offers which they have to pay out of their own wallet to do.

Of course, we already know that the promise of payment is just an illusion but the scammer uses it as a carrot on a stick to get scam victims to buy whatever make money online products and scams he tells them to so he makes a cut off of that too.

4. Using your information to try and commit identity theft

dollars plug reviewThis is by far the most disturbing aspect of this scam.

Most people (myself included) use just one or two variants of the same password across their PayPal, Amazon, eBay, Facebook and email accounts.

When you register for Dollars Plug you're asked for an email and password.
This seems innocent enough but just think of the huge benefits a con artist like this would have if he could get into your email account?

He's have access to your online banking and credit card information.

People just think it's free to sign up so they have nothing to lose, but this couldn't be further from the truth with Dollars Plug. Don't fall for it!
