What is Countdown To Profits about?

countdown to profits scam

That's a really good question because even if you've watched the entire 8 minute video like I did, you've probably still got no idea what this is really all about.

And that's because all this cheezy sales video gives you is hype, more hype and an extra large portion of cheese.

Richard Paul (if that's even his real name) goes on and on about how much money you're going to make, how easy it is and how you don't even have to do anything but there's never bothers to give a real explanation as to how you're going to make money with Countdown To Profits.

Here's what they do tell you:

  • You're guaranteed to make a minimum of $500
  • You'll make money on autopilot thanks to their “incredible mathematical algorithm
  • It's as easy as a few mouse clicks
  • It's an automatic, hands-free machine that seriously cranks out $125k every single month

Here's the truth:

Once you give them your email address and (God forbid) your telephone number you'll be bombarded with calls and email asking you to hand over the first $97 as a deposit.

This is nothing more than a binary tradings scam just like many others I've reviewed like the Brit Method scam, the Kiwi Method scam and the Quantum Code scam.

They get you to hand over your money to one of their ‘recommended brokers' who are often unlicensed and completely unregulated and buy trades on the financial markets.

After you lose money the first time they'll chase you again to try and squeeze more money out of you – don't do it!

This magical super-duper system is supposed to eliminate all the risk and have money pouring into your bank account. But we know this is all utter nonsense.

Trading on the markets without knowing what you're doing is pure gambling. The scammer and the brokers take their cut and you never see your money again.

Is Countdown To Profits A Scam Or Not?

Yes this is a scam and if you give them your credit card details you will never see your money again!

There are hundreds of complaints online from people like these who have lost money with this and I don't want you to be one of them.

Here's a couple from the Better Business Buraeu:

7 Sure Signs Countdown To Profits is an outright scam

Check out 13 Ways To Avoid Work From Home Scams Online to find out how to protect yourself from con artists like this online.

Once you've reviewed a few dozen work from home scams like I have, you quickly learn what signs to look out for…

1. New website, same old scam

profit stackers vs countdown to profits same scam
Same scam, different name

That's right, we've seen this scam before.

In the salves video the scammer made an accidental slip up and gave himself away. He said:

“In my first year at Profit Stackers I made system I made…”

Wait, what?! 😮

Don't you mean Countdown to Profits?

See, that the problem when your scams keep getting shut down and you have copy and paste everythign over to a new site with a new name, things get missed out.

This scammer going by the name of ‘Richard Paul' made a huge mistake. Can you really trust a single thing this guy tells you?

Update: The Profit Stackers scam has now been shut down.

2. Easy money on autopilot

Watch the video and you'll hear things like:

“He made $4,166 a day on average – he showed me his bank account and I was blown away!”

“Once it's set up you'll receive massive commissions of $1k, $3k, $5k or more!”

Anyone who promises you ridiculous  amounts of easy money for doing next to nothing is lying to you. That's not how making money works, online or anywhere else!

As my mum used to say, if it's sounds too good to be true that it probably is. I'm all for people leveraging the internet to make a full-time income for themselves (Heck, I even offer a free email course showing people how to do it!) but to do it you need to learn some new skills, get the right training and put in the effort.

Any time you hear someone telling you you'll become an overnight millionaire success after clicking a few buttons, click away.

3. All those big promises? Dubunked in the earnings disclaimer

Here's another reason you can't listen to anything this guy tell you.

Watch the video for 60 seconds and you'll hear about how you're going to be rolling in the cash using this magical software that took 10 years to develop.

Utter hogwash!

These are just gimmicks and deceptive tactics used to draw you in, but take a quick look at the earnings disclaimer and suddenly Richard Paul's confidence in his amazing algorithms vanishes.

The disclaimer very clearly states “No income claims are made, implied or guaranteed”, meaning when you lose money with this (and you will) you have not a chance in hell of ever seeing your money again.

They also say “We don't do hype” which we know is a blatent lie, the whole video is 100% hype from start to finish.

4. Fake video testimonials from paid actors

why countdown to profits is not legit or realRemember those people telling you how much money they made with this system?

Yep – they're fake too.

You can use websites like Fiverr.com to hire someone to say whatever you want them to say for $5-$10.

These people don't lose sleep at night about how many people are falling victim to this scam. As they see it they've done a job and got paid, end of story.

Why use fake testimonials in the first place?

Because the Countdown To Profit System doesn't work and a video testimonial from someone who's lost all their money doesn't really work when you're trying to convince others to sign up.

5. Fake endorsements designed to add credibility

Mr Richard Paul has been very sly here. On the Countdown To Profits website you'll see logos from MSNBC, Fox News, CNN, USA Today and ABC.

But look very carefully at the wording:

Note it doesn't say “Countdown To Profits have been featured on…” because it hasn't, but this is what he implies.

In the unsuspectiving victim's mind, seeing logos like this on the main homepage of a website gives it more credibility, but in truth it's just another lie.

But there's more…

6. Fake Facebook testimonials

why countdown to profits is fakeTrust me when I say nothing on this website is actually real in any way. Scroll down under the video and there's apparantely Facebook status updates who have been very successful with this software.

Can you guess what I'm going to say next?

That's right, these aren't real either.

If they were you'd be able to view the person's profile, leave a like or reply but of course you can't because these aren't real Facebook accounts.

When you try, you'll see an error message pop up saying:

“Whoa! Slow down there, Tiger… Watch the video first and then you can have access to everything on the inside!”

Oh ok, sure.

7. The ‘limited spots' are always available

The final sign Countdown To Profits is a complete scam is the fact that wherever you are in the world, you'll always see a “limited spots available” box in the top right.

I've been on the website several times over the past few days and the number's always changing. 12 months from now they'll still be spots available (if the scammers haven't shut the site down over to a new one yet).

why countdown to profits is a scam

I've seen so many scam websites do this where they give you a false sense of urgency to try and persuade you to take action quickly without thinking too much about it. If something is limited we're much more likely to want it, that's just human nature I guess.

But honestly, there's nothing special about this “opportunity”. It's not going to make you rich, instead it's going to make your current financial situation worse.

Hopefully this Countdown To Profits review exposing it for the scam it is has been enough to warn you away from this and keep your hard-earned money.

What I like

  • Nothing

What I don't like

  • Bogus earning claims
  • This same old scam keeps popping up with different names on different sites
  • Everything on the site is fake
  • Numerous complaints online
  • No way of getting a refund

The better way to make real money online

The hardest part about making money online is getting started in the first place without falling for internet scams like this time and again.

I was once looking for a real way to make money online like you are now and it's almost impossible to find out how you can legitimally use the internet to earn money.

Obviously Countdown To Profits is not the way to do it, but I'm here to tell you the good news is you can make money online, legitimally and honestly.

I started out in 2014 as a total newbie and now I make more than $6,000 a month online.

How did I do it?

I followed a practical training course that taught me everything I need to know about building an online income stream for myself and I took massive action to make my goals a reality.

And I believe with the right training, tools and support you can do it too. You want to know the best part? The beginner's course is completely free, no credit card details required.

No hype, no fluff, just practical how-to.
