OVERALL RATING
What Is My Traffic Business?
My Traffic Business is a training site supposedly teaching members how to make money sending emails to pitch your affiliate offers and earn $500/day for a few minutes of work.
Creator James Wendell says he’ll “Hand you the products people want to earn massive commissions”, claiming you'll make $10,000 in your first month because that's what he did…
Just send an email and as simple as that, you’re on your way to making $1000s.
Though email marketing can be a highly effective money-making strategy when done right, you'll struggle to earn a dime with the methods they teach and I'll show you why.
My Traffic Business also goes by the names:
- My Traffic Biz
- My Traffic Biz v2.0
- Wake Up To Cash Now
It's funny, we're told My Traffic Business is an online income opportunity when in reality, it does nothing to help you make money.
James Wendell talks a good talk about “list building excellence” before telling you to send spam emails to promote scummy online scams.
As you're about to see, these are just some of the many contradictions within this program.
Why I Don’t Trust James Wendall
If James is trying to show credibility and build trust by posting a picture of him and his wife near a beach, he’s completely failing.
Why?
Because this picture isn’t him at all. Rather, it’s just a stock photo he pulled off the internet:
Now tell me:
Will a trustworthy internet marketer hide behind a random photo of a stranger?
I didn't think so!
How Much Is My Traffic Business?
To access My Traffic Business, you have to pay a $47 one-time fee. Upgrade to get the VIP Priority Support option and you’ll need to pay an extra $9.95.
This James guy really wants you to opt-in because once you try to exit the page, you’ll be offered a 50% discount so you can buy My Traffic Business for just $23.50.
Do My Traffic Business Give Refunds?
MyTrafficBusiness.com did have a refund policy page but it's no longer working.
100s of people have signed up, realized it’s really not worth the buck and tried to take advantage of the 10-day money-back guarantee, only to find out they don't follow through.
A vast majority of the scam complaints filed with the Better Business Bureau are from members demanding a refund:
Despite being promised their money back within 10 business days, these are hollow words from a scammer who has no intention of honouring his own refund policy.
How Does My Traffic Business Work?
My Traffic Business teaches you how to make money with affiliate marketing with emails with one major difference: you'll only be pitching the My Traffic Business system to others.
How do they teach you?
By giving you an eBook called “List Building Excellence.”
That’s it. You'll have to figure the rest out on your own.
The funny part is My Traffic Business promised to do all the heavy lifting for you but buy this and you'll constantly have to chase traffic to try to get new recruits.
Send your leads to the My Traffic Business website so if they don't buy right away you can annoy them over and over again with spammy emails.
2 Reasons This Won’t Work
Firstly, being dumped with a crappy eBook and left to get on with it is outrageous.
Proper training programs give you the right one-on-one support and guidance. They provide in-depth over-the-shoulder video training to help you grasp the important concepts and show you how things are done.
My Traffic Business doesn’t offer any of these things, it's just a lousy eBook.
Secondly, you’re made to believe this is a tool to help you get buyers to your offers. That's misleading. This won’t help you with buyer traffic. You have to do everything yourself.
Is My Business Traffic A Scam?
Yes, My Business Traffic is definitely a scam. You're given fake stock photos of the owner, shown phoney reviews by paid actors and it's just not the legit income solution we were told as the sheer volume of complaints from people who've tried it will attest.
If My Traffic Business Was Legit They'd Be No Need To Hire Actors
They hired a couple of actors to try to convince you this is a real money-making strategy:
Don't believe a word of it. These actors will say anything and act so convincingly just to make $10 from their Fiverr gig.
Better Business Bureau: There's A TON Of MTB Complaints
The Better Business Bureau complaints are not only from former My Traffic Business members trying to get a refund; it’s way worse than that.
There are also a number of complaints from non-members getting charged by My Traffic Business without their authorization:
My Traffic Business is charging people without their consent? How scary is that?!
Now, this next complaint is heart-wrenching. He is retired and getting charged repeatedly for what was supposed to be a one-time fee.
To make things worse, he couldn’t even reach anyone through phone or email:
Imagine targeting the elderly and vulnerable who are barely scraping by on a pension…
If you’ve visited the My Traffic Business website, shut down the browser tab as fast as you can to avoid falling victim to identity fraud and unauthorized charges.
Where Do You Go From Here?
My Traffic Business is not just a lousy opportunity, it’s dangerous.
This has all the typical tell-tale scam signs; from the random stock photos to the Fiverr actors, down to stealing people's money and information.
The internet really is a scary place if you don’t know what you are doing…

I’m a 71 year old woman who has been scammed out of $47.00. I’m on a fixed income and I don’t need anyone stealing my hard earned money! How do I get my money back?
Woww!! Soo true
Thank you so much, you can’t imagine how many people you saved 🙏🏽
All in a day’s work Tracy 😉
I almost fell for this. I definitely felt it was a scam. And still…
Thankfully my bank blocked the payment.
This is so insane. Ugh I hate people.
It’s not everyone Vika but there are a lot of scammers online for sure!
I’m relieved this scam didn’t get any of your money and don’t feel bad, these guys are pros at what they do!
If this like so many other one’s that are similar,,they would show their spouse.they show their brother, sister or cousin, who would then in turn show their close friends who would then show their own close friend .in turn it would snow ball until most every one would hear of it. remember the old adage 2 can keep a secret if 1 is dead.
I just paid the $27 fee. Then they talk about the 30x method for $98.50 and like a dope I fell for that as well, all the time not knowing what you are actually purchasing. I knew I had been scammed after I kept putting in my order number just to have it come up invalid several attempts were made with the same result- Invalid. I quickly contacted my CC provider and they cancelled my card. Who is James Wendell? Who is Merlin Holmes? James says he lives in San Diego California. I don’t know how he would put all this information out there, These people are the lowest form of life. Taking innocent peoples money and living like millionaires.
These guys scam people for a living and are very good at what they do, so don’t blame yourself. We’ve all been scammed at one point or other.
Yep, these guys are the lowest of the low and they have no conscience. Like the opposite of Robin Hood, they take from those who often are struggling with debt and in dire financial straits to give to themselves. That’s why I’m trying my best to make scamming less and less profitable for them. One step at a time, we’ll get there!
This isn’t the first time I have gotten myself into trouble believing what is too good to be true. Probably the 5th or 6th time in my life and every one has taken me down?
I am 74, I worked for a counseling group as a mental health therapist until I had two spine surgeries back to back and was out of work for 2 1/2 months at which time I was told I no longer am welcome at the group. I haven’t been paid and am finding myself getting more desparate. That is why I fell for this. I have recently been doing stupid sweepstakes and in doing that learned about ways to make money by giving opinion and doing surveys. I have not committed to anything, but does anyone know which of these is a legitimate way to make money on the side until I can get another office set up. I am still not able to handle such a difficult project. I feel lost and I lost $150 to My Traffic Business.
Hi Carol,
It certainly sounds like you’ve been through some stuff! It’s a shame the counseling group couldn’t be more understanding about your situation and I’m sorry you fell for the My Traffic Business scam. As you say, they target people who are desperate because they know we’ll be more willing to accept whatever they say. It’s happened to the best of us!
Honestly, I wouldn’t waste my time with sweepstakes and survey sites aren’t much better…
Swagbucks (here’s my Swagbucks review) is probably the best survey site we’ve reviewed and we’ve reviewed 100s, though you’re still not likely to get more than $1 an hour.
You might want to take a look at Brand Institute; a survey site for medical professionals as they pay slightly higher because they’re more specialised.
Let me know when you get your office space set up because building an online business is really the only way to make a full-time income online. I can help you build a website that gets daily visitors so you can monetise it through affiliate marketing and ads like I do.
I wish you all the best and hope to hear from you soon! 🙂
carol, did you follow through, this is a solo ads program to build your list fast, this program works, its the best ive seen out there in 30 years. so sorry you feewl that way, but this guy is the scammer and basher of there biz.
I am a 72-year-old retired woman who got scammed by this company. I am looking for a way to get a refund for charges that they placed on my credit card. I haven’t found a way, yet.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Ask your bank for the 47 dollars, just tell them the date of the payment and the company, and tell them the reason. They’ll gladly put the money back in your account.
call your district attorney, its a felony in most states to scam elders. within most if not all U.S. states.
They just got me. Contact cc to dispute charges.
rob this is a good program, did you follow through? this guy here is the con, a real jerk, and mtb works its a solo ad site to build your list plus you are able to help others who want to learn, you need a list, and solo ads is the way to grow it fast this is the best program ive seen in 30 years and it works.
