Welcome to the ultimate Wood Profits review! If you've just landed on WoodProfits.com then you've probably got a lot of questions like is Wood Profits a scam or legit and is it worth the $37 price tag?

You've just been fed with a lot of hype about how you can launch a woodworking business for under $1000 that turns a profit of $90,000 to $150,000 a year.

Kudos to you for doing your due diligence and researching before handing over your hard-earned cash. In this Wood Profits review you're going to get the honest answers to these questions:

  • What is Wood Profits?
  • Who is Jim Morgan?
  • Can you get the results it promises?
  • Is Wood Profits a scam or a legit system that works?

I am in no way affiliated with WoodProfits.com. I'm just an online entrepreneur who finally got past the scams and learned how to build a legitimate online business.

That being said, let's dive into the review! 🙂

What Is Wood Profits?

Wood Profits is a $37 53-page ebook and audio version that's been around since 2012. The eBook claims to teach you everything you need to know about starting your own woodworking business.

Once you've handed over your money you'll be given a download link.

Wood Profits is aimed at people who are sick of working for other people and ready to start working for themselves and while I'm all for that, I'm going to show you why you can't trust anything you see on the Wood Profits sales page.

There's nothing wrong with using your woodworking skills to set up shop on your own and going solo, but I think Wood Profits fails to live up to the hype.

Here's the thing…

Any program or training product that says you can earn a lot of money in a very short space of time with no work required is not being honest with you. It's as simple as that.

I earn $6,000 per month through my online business but believe me, I had to put in the work upfront consistently over a period of time before I saw results.

How Much Does Wood Profits Cost?

Immediate access to the Wood Profits PDF and audiobook is available for a one-time fee of $37, though you can add some extras at checkout:

  • Add a Fill-in-the-blanks Woodworking Business Plan to your order for $9.95
  • The “Guide To Essential Tools” you need for a complete shop is $7.95
  • WoodProfits Kindle version is available for $3.95

How About A Wood Profits Discount?

There are no coupon codes or discounts I could find but according to the Wood Profits website, the $37 is discounted from the original $97 price.

Can You Get A Wood Profits Refund?

You can get a full no-questions-asked refund for 60 days from your date of purchase directly from Clickbank, though this refund policy only covers your initial purchase and not any additional extras.

Can You Make Money With Wood Profits?

While you might find some tidbits of information useful, making money following this extremely bare-bones and outdated Wood Profits eBook is going to be an uphill struggle.

There's nothing in there you can't find by doing a free Google search and it's definitely not worth the $37 price tag.

The earnings claims on the homepage of the website are pretty ridiculous too, saying you could earn up to $150,000 a year.

But contrast that with their earnings disclaimer and suddenly Jim's not sounding so confident (more on that in a sec).

Is Wood Profits A Scam Or Legit?

There are too many red flags to call Wood Profits legit; the unknown owner, fake reviews and overpriced upgrades all point to the fact Wood Profits is a deceptive scam that I can not, in good conscience, recommend to anyone.

5 Wood Profits Red Flags Exposed!

If you're not yet convinced Jim Morgan's Wood Profits is a scam, consider:

  • The use of fake stock images on the Wood Profits website
  • Jim Morgan is a false name and we don't know who the real creator is
  • The fake news media outlet endorsements
  • Lack of any real success stories
  • The hyped up income claims
  • A whole array of higher priced upsells

1. Wood Profits Owner Jim Morgan Doesn't Exist

The whole Wood Profits sales page is written by a guy calling himself Jim Morgan, but there's one problem…

Jim Morgan is a fake name and we have no idea who is behind the eBook. Jim Morgan's photo is nothing more than a standard stock image you can find online.

wood profits is a scam

The other images on this sales page don't match up either- they're showing completely different people!

It's as if the creator of this product just googled ‘Man working in a woodshop' and grabbed whatever images he could.

Who the heck is this guy?

The fact the owner does not want to be known should raise suspicions. Why does he feel the need to hide his true identity and what else is he not being honest with you about?

2. Wood Profits Is Fake News!

We are told Wood Profits has been featured on the likes of CNN, USA Today and Entrepreneur Magazine but after searching online I can not find even one mention of Wood Profits or Jim Morgan on any of these media outlets.

WOOD PROFITS REVIEW

This is nothing more than fake news. Yet another reason you should not trust anything on their sales page – it's completely fabricated.

3. Pretend Wood Profits Reviews Designed To Deceive

Another sign Wood Profits is a fake scam is from the fake reviews created using bogus Facebook accounts.

At a glance it seems everyone is experiencing real success from this program, even making $400 in one weekend as a direct result of applying the action steps in the book.

wood profits reviews

But these are nothing other than hyped up fake success stories this scammer has created in an effort to convince you this is worth your money and your time.

If you really could earn $150,000 a year making tables and chairs in your workshop then there'd be no end of success stories available from people who have gone through the book, applied it and seen results.

But they can't show you real success stories or reviews because the book isn't worth the paper its written on in my opinion.

4. Bold Income Claims Not Backed By Earnings Disclosure

There are some pretty big and bold claims made here. When they're trying to get you to hand over their cash they'll tell you anything you want to hear, but check out their earnings disclaimer and it's a whole different story…

SOURCE: Wood Profits' Earnings Disclaimer

Suddenly all confidence in their product evaporates.

Here's them backing down:

“We do not guarantee or imply that you will get rich, that you will do as well, or that you will have any earnings (whether monetary or advertising credits, whether convertible to cash or not), at all.”

They go on to say you're more likely not to receive any results from this. Here's what they say in their own words:

“If you rely on the specific income or earnings figures used, you must accept all the risk of not doing as well. The described experiences are atypical. Your financial results are likely to differ from those described in the testimonials.”

Can you see what I'm saying? You can't take anything they say seriously!

5. Brace Yourself For Upsells Galore!

If you think $37 is the end of it, think again. This is just the first fee designed to get you through the door so they can start upselling you.

As you can see, the first up-sell is will set you back an additional $29.97, then another $39.00 before an extra $49.97.

I really don't like upsells for several reasons, but mainly because when you buy Wood Profits you're told you're getting a step by step guide and a complete system to follow, so why the need for upsells?

It's a ruse designed to squeeze as much money out of you as possible. Don't fall for it!

Is Wood Profits Right For You?

Honestly, if I were you I would keep your $37 and try something else

No doubt there are tidbits of information you could find helpful, but nothing you can't already find for free with a quick search on Google and certainly nothing to get you earning $150k a year.

I remember seeing this product at least 7 years ago. The fact there's a CD on their design tells you just how old and outdated this ClickBank product really is.

The only people making money out of Wood Profits is the Wood Profits owner (who we don't know anything about) or the ClickBank affiliates promoting the product.

Take my advice and don't waste your money on outdated junk like this and if you've already bought it then get your money back.

  1. Wow! I really appreciate these comments and findings – BEFORE I spent money on a probable outdated scam or at best apparently outdated methods, technology etc.

I will dig around the web and see if I can find some good honest information.

Thank you for your information and advice!

  2. I completely agree with your statement. Any company that claims that you can make over 300$ in no time, with minimum experience is completely lying to you. No company is willing to pay you that much without having something in return. The fact that this “guide” was created in 2012 and hasn’t even been updated says a lot about the company and their will to help you improve and create your own business.

  3. Simon, I don’t know if Wood Profits is a scam but it’s definitely not as easy to make money as they make out. You can make a profit with woodworking, but you need to be highly skilled, consistent, hardworking and honestly, a lot of investment into tools before you ever make anything back.

I come from a long line of carpenters so I know what I’m talking about. I used to be a carpenter full-time for 7 years. If you are going to do more than be a framer, you’re going to need to buy table saws, files, planers, clamps, a jig saw, a miter box, a lathe, and countless other very expensive machinery.

And let’s not forget about the general upkeep and maintenance and repairs costs. It’s a lot of time and expense.

Here’s the Gods-honest truth, yeah you can make $100,000 but trust me after expenses and taxes you’ll likely walk away with $20,000 annually. No, I’m absolutely serious.

Carpentry is a very honourable trade. But it’s hard. It takes time to build your clientele. And not only that, you have to constantly rebuild your clientele.

I’m not trying to be discouraging but the truth is tradesmen have a hard lot, even the highly skilled ones. Oh yeah, you can totally get lucky and be sought after but it’s still expensive.

That’s my two cents worth for anyone thinking about going into the Wood Profits program.

  4. Hello friend,

Thanks for your thorough review of Wood Profit. I know this review is going a long way to help many people out there to save them from wasting their hard earned money on this eBook.

Because there are many desperate people out there looking for a way to build their own businesses online, scammers are also taking advantage of this and duping people of their hard earned income.

I will never recommend or go for an offer that the real onwner cannot be found. I mean if Wood Profit is a legitimate offer, why should the REAL owner hide himself.

Thanks a lot for sharing this review with us. I know it will help many people out there to avoid becoming victimd of scam.

    Stephen.

    • Thanks Stephen, it’s so true – if you’re product is good then be proud of it, stand by it! Only someone with something to hide would ever use false images and names, a sure-fire sign this is a scam.

  5. I love that you start this review with your results – often these review sites wait until the very end before they reveal the big secret at the end. The upsells are a dead giveaway that like you suspect, Wood profits is likely a scam. I like the sound of the clickbank and Wealthy affiliate programs you introduce towards the end of this article – which of these would you suggest for a beginner like me?

    • With ClickBank you’ve got to be careful. Some products are ok but others are total scams.  If you’re recommending a product or service to your readers then you’re own integrity is at stake, which is why you should only ever make recommendations on something you have used are are using now and you believe it will be genuinely helpful.

For newbies I’d recommend taking the Online Entrepreneur Certification course at Wealthy Affiliate as it will give you the all important foundational understanding of how the process of making money online works, how to pick a niche and get started, including how to get access to hundreds of affiliate programs.
