Is Clear Voice Surveys A Scam? An In-Depth Review [2021]

Is Clear Voice Surveys A Scam

Is taking online surveys a good way to make money online and is Clear Voice Surveys a scam you should avoid, a legit work from home opportunity or a waste of your time?

I've reviewed a lot of survey sites lately (like i-Say, Click4Surveys and Survey Spotter) that sell people on the idea making extra cash online is quick, easy and requires no effort.

As someone who makes a full-time living online, I can tell you this is simply not the case. Sure, anyone can earn a replace their income but it takes dedication, commitment and a lot of hard work.

But what about Clear Voice? Is this a worthwhile site to sign up to? That's exactly what you're about to find out in this review.

Right off the bat:

I'm not affiliated in any way to Clear Voice Surveys and unlike a lot of the reviews out there, I don't get paid if you sign up.

I'm just an honest guy on the internet giving you my honest opinion to help you avoid the time-wasters and focus on the online opportunities that get results.

What Is Clear Voice Surveys?

ClearVoiceSurveys.com is survey site launched in 2006 that says you can receive rewards for taking online surveys that are easy to complete.

Unlike other survey sites, Clear Voice surveys don't give you the option to cash out using PayPal. Instead, you can only request an Amazon gift card once your balance reaches $5, or get cash via Payoneer once you reach $10.

One thing I like about Clear Voice is they don't use a useless points-based system like EarnHoney, The Panel Station and Vindale Research do and instead, they just show your real dollar amount.

Before we get into the rest of the review, here's Clear Voice Surveys' promo video to give you a quick overview of how it all works:

If you're like me then you honestly don't care about the “giving feedback and opinions to help companies get better” part and the only reason you're even consiering taking surveys is to make money!

We've all got bills to pay and things we're saving for and we're told this is a good way to do that.

So can you really make decent money with Clear Voice Surveys or is it just not worth it?

I decided to sign up so I could see for myself…

Clear Voice Surveys Review

First things first, I needed to create an account. I chose the “Sign up with Facebook” option and was redirected to this screen to fill out my address, date of birth and tick the box to say I'm not a robot, then submit. Nothing too out of the ordinary.

Then I was asked if I wanted to refer a friend. At this point I'm just looking to see how many surveys are available and what they pay per survey so I exited out of this and went straight to the survey section.

The first thing I saw on the survey panel was an error message. Initially, I thought it was telling me there's no surveys available, but actually I just needed to confirm my account. I guess I must've accidentally skipped that bit…

I checked my inbox and with no email from Clear Voice Surveys I requested a new confirmation email but nope, didn't get a thing. Checked my spam folders and everything.

At this point, it looks like I've hit a brick wall. I can't see the surveys without confirming my account, but with no email, I can't.

10 minutes later…

Email received and I'm on the inside.

Next I was asked to fill out my profile which involved more in-depth questioning about my demographics, where I live and so on. Although a little more intrusive, I don't mind so much if it's going to help match me with surveys in the long run.

user profile

My biggest complaint about most of the paid survey sites out there is that you get 20 minutes into an online survey then it tells you you're not able to qualify.

If answering these profile questions beforehand will save me that hassle later on then I'm more than happy to do it.

Okay I'm 30 minutes and still filling out the profiles so it is a little time-consuming, but as I say, it may be worth it if they have good-paying surveys available.

2 Ways To Make Money With Clear Voice

1. Take Surveys ($0.25-$4.00)

I read online Clear Voice have surveys paying $10 but so far I've not seen anywhere near that, maybe these will pop up once every few years but the cast majority of surveys pay you between $0.25 and $1.00.

At 30 minutes each, you might find yourself working for less than $1 an hour.

2. Play Sweepstakes

Instead of getting paid for surveys you can choose to opt for a single entry into a sweepstake. With every survey that you take, you get another chance to enter sweepstakes and possibly win up to $1,000 in cash prizes.

Personally, I wouldn't go for this because your chances of winning are so small.

Common Clear Voice Surveys Complaints

1. Surveys “Screen Out” Half-Way Through

I can't think of anything more frustrating then getting half-way through a survey only for the screen to go blank while it slowly dawns on you you've just wasted the last 30 minutes of your life with absolutely nothing to show for it.

This seems to happen a lot with Clear Voice. Here's one review from SurveyPolice.com:

2. User Accounts Closed Without Reason?

Some users accuse Clear Voice Surveys of being a scam after their accounts got suspended or blocked right before they reached the minimum $10 withdrawal threshold.

Glitches are always going to happen from time to time but when they do you'd hope customer support would be on hand to correct it, unfortunately this isn't always the case.

3. You Can't Get Paid Through PayPal

I was expecting this complaint to come up and it sure did, many times. Even I was surprised they don't pay through PayPal.

Surely it's not too difficult to get this arranged?

Is Clear Voice Surveys A Scam?

Clear Voice Surveys is a free to join rewards site that do pay their members on the whole and they are not a scam.

But are you going to make real money doing this?

No, I don't think so – at best you could maybe earn an extra $10 per month.

Sites like these lure people in with promises of fast and easy cash but it usually doesn't take long to realise you're working for less than $1 an hour.

Should you join Clear Voice Surveys? I think if you've got lots of time on your hands and you're happy making just a few dollars here and there then it might be OK.

Personally I would never waste my time on sites like these, especially when there are better ways to invest your time, like creating a legit online business for yourself.

This is why in 2014 I started my first internet business from scratch. Today I earn more than $6,000 online each and every month. The good news is sites like Wealthy Affiliate can show you how to do this step-by-step. It's perfect for beginners and it's completely free to start.

  2. I just learned that Clear Voice had a data breach that exposed my E Mail and passwords. Luckily I learned early and did not fill in profiles. Clearly Clear Voice security is not what it should be for a site collecting a lot of personal information. Thanks for your review.

    • Sure thing James and I’m just glad you found out in time. With survey sites like this you’re havnding over a lot of very private information including what your current credit limits are, your shopping habits and so on.

We’ve reveiwed hundreds of survey sites now as well as Clear Voice and not a single one gives you more than a lousy $1 an hour!

I would tell anyone reading this not to waste their time! Here’s a better way.

  3. Thank you for reviewing “ClearVoice”, it was really helpful and saved me time. I would definitely check the Wealthy Affiliate program but am not that sure if there is any authentic way of earning much from affiliate programs for beginners.

    • Hi there Andaleeb,

I’m glad to hear that, you’ve just saved yourself a lot of time AND frustration for sure!

Wealthy Affiliate is a training course that shows you how to build an online business and is specifically designed for beginners. I was a beginner when I started too!

They have a free Starter membership so you can try it out and see what you think. At the very least, I’d say take them for a test drive and see how you get on.
