OVERALL RATING

0.5 Star Rating NEW

The guys behind Explode My Payday are really good at building hype around products that always end up as no more than a disappointing fizz.

The big promises of fast and easy cash are not backed up by their legal disclaimers. They use fake names and testimonials to deceive you into thinking this is legit.

But worst of all:

They openly admit they WILL sell your email address to spammers if you give it to them, so please don’t!

What Is Explode My Payday?

We're led to believe ExplodeMyPayday.com is a website set up by a lady called Meaghan Harper who is on a 3-day recruitment drive to find 45 people in 45 cities she can work with to expand her business.

Apparently, she's offering you a once in a lifetime opportunity to join her $1 billion enterprise where you'll easily earn $1,000 per day within the first 24 hours…

And all this by doing just 15-20 minutes of ‘work' a day.

The video gives us success stories of people who have already got started and are making at least £237 a day.

How Much Does Explode My Payday Cost?

You can buy Explode My Payday for $47 but you'll be asked to pay an extra $294 for the Big Bundle and Campaigns upsells.

The good news is Explode My Payday comes with a 60-day refund option.

Inside Explode My Payday

Type in your name and email (not recommended!) and you're taken to a second page with an orientation video where Meaghan welcomes you onboard and tells you a bit more about how the system works.

what is explode my payday a scam

Right at the beginning, she says she's opened a ‘live' account for you and shows you the balance at zero.

(Sorry I know this is all very odd, but stick with me here…!)

During the course of the video, she refers back to it to demonstrate how your balance keeps going up automatically.

First, it's $240, then it jumps up to $625.

She says weird things like:

  • “At the click of a button – it's live, there's no way I can fake this!”
  • “You'll know this is real when you get your check first thing tomorrow morning!”

Even though we know it's a prerecorded video?! 😉

How do you access your cash?

Apparently by going to a third page and making a payment of $47.

(Erm, sorry… I won't be doing that!)

She says in a few months Explode My Payday will cost $5,000 but she's giving you special access now as a beta tester to prove her system works before she releases it to the wider public.

How do you make money exactly?

Meaghan Harper says you'll earn money through websites that have all been done for you and there's no effort required on your part to start generating commissions.

She goes on to say the Explode My Payday magical super-duper software will automatically send traffic to these new sites from social media sites of yours like Facebook and Instagram.

What I Like About Explode My Payday

Before I leave the land of the fairies and start debunking this nonsense, there is ONE thing I like about Explode My Payday and that's their refund policy.

This is a ClickBetter product it comes with their standard 60-day money-back guarantee where you'll be able to get a refund, no questions asked.

Good to know, if you're drawn in by their elaborate stories but come back to your senses.

6 Explode My Payday Red Flags Exposed!

1. Explode My Payday Is A New Name For An Old Scam

One of the major differences between a scam and a legit online opportunity is scams tend not to stay around for very long.

Once the complaints roll in and word gets out that what they're selling is utter rubbish, they simply shut it down and open it up again under a new name somewhere else.

I recently posted my Greedy Mentor review and when you compare Greedy Mentor and Explode My Payday side by side you'll see immediately that it's the same mastermind behind them both:

explode my payday vs greedy mentor

Both sites claim to be from a lady called Meaghan Harper, both use the same videos and testimonials (we'll talk about those!) and almost the same layout.

Clearly, the site we're talking here about is part of a bigger network of scams.

With every new scam released there's an excitement built leading up to the launch date with affiliate competitions and a big push on email marketing to see who can generate the most sales.

This program is a real moneymaker for the creators and affiliates promoting it, but it's not such a great deal for you.

Maybe that's why the owners named this ‘Explode MY Payday'?

Just a thought…

2. They Will Sell Your Email To The Highest Bidder

Whatever you do, do NOT give them your contact details!

I'm being serious.

If you do you're giving your consent for them to rent or sell your personal contact details.

Here's how they put it at the bottom of the website:

selling email addresses disclaimer

Try to leave Explode My Payday and you're offered a whopping 96% discount:

explode my payday discount

Why?

Because they desperately want your email address.

There are 2 reasons for this:

  1. They have emails written and ready to send out to you on autopilot. They'll hope you click through one of them and eventually buy something.
  2. They will sell or rent your email address to the highest bidder so that other get-rich-quick scheme merchants can try promoting their offers to you.

Either way, get ready for the avalanche of spam about to hit your inbox.

3. Creator ‘Meaghan Harper' Doesn't Even Exist

Remember that lady calling herself Meaghan Harper, looking for 45 people in 45 cities to join her billion-dollar enterprise?

Yeah… she's not an actual person.

I know, I was starting to like her too! 😉

But it turns out she's nothing more than a stock image picked at random from Shutterstock.com.

meaghan harper scams (2)

Come to think of it, I did think it was a bit random that she showed a picture of herself wearing a bikini in a kayak…

The fact they use fake names and stock images should sound very loud alarm bells!

Why would someone hide their real identity unless they were trying to scam you?! A legit income opportunity owner would proudly stand by their product!

The real owners?

Explode My Payday is just the latest program of many created by Steven James, John Saeger and Justin Francisco over at Triad Excel Marketing.

4. Nothing But Fake News Here…

Remember those short video testimonials they showed you of people claiming they made $1000s in the first few days of using the Explode My Payday system?

Yeah, they're fake too.

The success stories you saw in the video were from paid actors from Fiverr, a site where you can pay people anywhere between $5-$25 to say whatever you want them to.

fake testimonials from fiverr

As we're quickly coming to realise – everything on the Explode My Payday website is completely fabricated.

The reason they can't share real success stories from members who followed their training and got results is that what they're trying to flog you here doesn't work.

5. You're The Only Person In Your City To Get Access?

One of the easiest ways to spot and avoid scams is by looking for the fake scarcity tactics they use to try to fool you into thinking you need to hurry up and pay up before the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity passes you by.

Explode My Payday do this a lot.

This is the oldest trick in the book and I've come across it in other scams I've reviewed like Secret Income Club, AliProfits and Profit Robot.

Across the top of the Explode My Payday website you'll see a coloured bar with today's date telling you this amazing income opportunity is closing at midnight.

Funny thing is, go back to the site the next day and guess what? It's still there.

And remember those little pop-ups that show up in the bottom left of the screen?

Yeah, they're fake too, created using a site called UseProof.com.

fake proof

All these scammy sales tactics are just a rouse to give you a false sense of urgency and try and get you to buy in quick ‘before it's too late'. Don't fall for it.

6. Watch Out For Those Higher Priced Upsells!

Affiliates promoting Explode My Payday makes an average $237 from each buyer:

explode my payday upsells

How can they make $273 commission when the price is only $47?

Because the first payment is just to get you through the door so they can start selling you on higher-priced upsells.

Explode My Payday has 2 upsells:

Upsell 1: Big Bundle – $195

Upsell 2: Campaigns – Email marketing training ($99)

This means you'll be asked to fork out at least $347 in total.

It's likely you won't get the results they're promising you unless you buy into these upsells so this is definitely something to keep in mind.

Is Explode My Payday A Scam Or Legit?

Is Explode My Payday a scam when they're promising crazy amounts of money on autopilot?

Is it a scam if they're using fake names and fake testimonials to deceive you into thinking this is a legit opportunity?

Is it a scam if they put their profits before protecting your private contact information?

Explode My Payday has all the classic warning signs of a scam and I definitely don't recommend them as a legit path to earn online.

  1. It is sad to see people being scammed with such tactics.

A lot of ‘gurus’ are emerging on the internet promising to make people money in various ways.

Let’s take for example forex. To be a forex trader you need to be good at things like mathematics, statistics, economics and the likes – all at once.

In addition, you need to have the experience applying these skills.

Yet you see people being told that they can take a forex course and start making money within a week.

How someone believes that they can do something that someone else took 10 years to perfect, in a week, beats me.

    • Scams like Explode My Payday still exist because there are plenty of people out there still looking for shortcuts to financial success. They are unwilling to take the time to learn the necessary skills and to put in the necessary hard work it takes to breakthrough.

I was exactly the same until I learned there’s no such thing as a free pass when it comes to making money online or anything else for that matter.

On the flip side though, be ready to hustle, find the right program to follow and the sky’s the limit in terms of online earnings!

  2. Thanks so much for this information. I just paid $9 to get in but when I saw the video of Meagan Harper and asking for $47 for the next access, I searched to see how legit it is, and YOU ARE AN ANGEL!!!! You saved me and I would like to say thank you so much for your review. I also find on Facebook all the names of each person making the testimonials and can’t find a real one. When I tried to screenshot all these FB people and send to them by email, there was no reply from Ray Pickard Ray (supposed to me my mentor) at Cash Sniper 4693 W 9th Avenue , Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada V6R 2E3. So I guess this is really a SCAM!!
Again thanks so much, Simon! I LOVE YOU ALREADY hahaha Thanks for helping us know the difference!
    Sincerely,
    Mercy

    • Hi Larry, you are more than welcome and after researching this program I believe you’ve saved yourself a lot more than just $47, so a very wise decision on your part.

Did you register for the free beginners training course yet? If not, you can do so here. The course is run by Wealthy Affiliate which has a free Starter membership aimed at giving you an opportunity to experience the community before deciding whether or not you want to upgrade to the $49/month or $359 per year Premium membership. The course walks you though exactly how to create income-generating websites and it takes about 3-6 months before you start to see a steady and consistent stream of traffic and sales.

I joined there as a free Starter in 2014 and went Premium after a few days and I’ve been there ever since. You can view my profile here.

If you want to give it a try you are more than welcome and I will personally be on hand to help guide you at every step along the way. I hope this helps and I wish you all the best.

      Stay safe.

  6. Haha. Its so odd watching all these promo videos, and hearing how they all basically use the same wording. For example, turn up the volume on your device, its already up and running. I mean, even the pages are built the same way.
Already up and running? Meaning its making money already? So why do you need me to pay you?
It will disappear in 24 hours.. ok,.lets bookmark the page.. few days later,.. yeah you guessed it, its still there.. haha.

What bugs me the most is the fact, that they do not seem to understand that 10dollars might be a lot to the person viewing the page depending on which country they are from. To me for example, paying for one these so called money making systems is as risky as trading in foreign exchange. Except with forex i have just a little more control. So as soon as i hear or read “risk free” i just have to laugh.
I still believe that there should be an easier way to help people in this world than scam them into buying something that potentially will not work for them. If you have a look at how things are set up, they want to make sales as fast as possible, which is a short term goal in reality. That makes me believe that everything is a bit narrow-minded and not above board from the start.

  7. Well I know how good Wealthy Affiliate is, because I have been a member for 9 months. The training and the support are great, it is the best training and support platform anywhere online.

Thanks for the heads-up on Explode My Payday, you cannot really call this product a full blown scam, because of the money back guarantee, but it don’t work, I know because I bought into the hype and bought the product.

I did get my refund so this is why it is not a scam, but it does not deliver what it claims. Some products are made to sell and some products are made to use. I will see you inside Wealthy Affiliate, thanks.

  8. Do you have an address or phone number for these low-lifes? They charged my bank $384.00 and I did not order any of their crap. I had this happen on the same day that another company called ecomclub.com stole $3,825 from that same account leaving me broke and destitute. Any info you can give me to locate them would be appreciated. Thank you, Vicky

I found this email address for them: [email protected]

Also, Explode My Payday is one of the many ‘projects’ (including eCom Club) being run by a company called Triad Excel Marketing, here’s the website with their names, a contact form and a telephone number.

I really do hope you get a positive resolution to all of this, please let us know how you get on.

  9. Hi Simon,
I have read these reviews, and yes, the video is abit sketchy BUT, I know someone who uses this software to produce around $1200 per week.
I am a clickbank user, and if I purchase the product myself for $47, I get back $35 in commissions.
There are NO rebills, but my question to you is, are there any hidden upsells?
If you know, then please let me know.
    Regards

    • Hey Tony,

The only upsells I know about are the ones I mention in this review – ‘Big Bundle’ at $195 and ‘Campaigns’ at $99, as far as I can tell these are one-off payments.

Let us know how you get on with it.

      All the best,

  10. Thanks for this review about Explode My Payday Simon, this really sounds like one to stay away from!

I’ve come across many spammy programs before that have fake names and testimonials, but I can’t say I’ve seen one that actually admit that they will sell your email address to spammers, lol! Have you ever seen anything so brazen?

This program has every single aspect of a scam that I have ever seen and then some!

Thanks for putting the warning out there, I hate see good people fall for this rubbish!

  11. Hello, Simon! Again you have done a great job to save naive people from a beautiful trap. I have experience of caution and decided to make an independent judgment.

First of all, the site Explode My Payday does not create and does not sell any material products. Without a material basis, no surplus value is created. This is the law of material production. We remember about intellectual products. But on this site we will not see any attempt, no trace of any educational program.

What then remains? Glitter, poverty of thought and turning of the already known fraudulent tricks. You convincingly showed this in your review. Your critical review is thorough and convincing.

By the way, back in June 2018 I saw the same site called Your Freedom Mentor. The same Meaghan Harper was sitting in a kayak. There is no her profile on LinkedIn .

I support your review at 100% and will forward it to readers. Thank you Mark

  12. Explode my pay day seems to be a snowball of disappointment. When u see claims of making $1000s with just 15-20 minutes a day just know u have been scammed. I’ve bought such programs like explode my pay day it ended in absolute regret and disappointment.

When you see fake images and testimonials describing how in 24hours you can make huge money, Such schemes have bad or non responsive support. Gratefully they have a money back guarantee so you can ask for a refund. If the don’t get you the try with up sells.

Stay away from time wasting programs or products to avoid heart aches.

  13. That’s a thorough and complete analysis you’ve made. From the red flags you’ve pointed out I’m well convinced and wouldn’t waste my time and money with such as a scam waiting for someone to devour. Sometimes I do wonder why people would intentionally create platforms like this to rob people of their hard-earned money.

Thanks for your information and I would consider your recommendation to see where it can take me. I hope it doesn’t come with upsells?

  14. Thanks for walking us through this program step-by-step. That way it’s pretty clear to me that I need to avoid this at all costs!

Still, I can understand why people fall for this. A lot of folks are in financial problems and are looking for solutions online. Unfortunately, there’s no shortage on these get-rich-quick schemes and all it takes is a little sweet talk and a bit of hype to convince people.

Thanks for being here and do the effort to warn people. There can’t be enough of you guys on the internet that expose these kind of schemes.

    p.s. That activate button is HUGE… 🙂

    • I know right! That whole video was weird and the big activation button thing was the icing on the cake. She set up a live account but it’s blatently obvious it’s a recorded video… does anyone believe she’s actually setting up an account? I seriously doubt it.

As I was writing out the story it felt like a plot out of Star Wars or something, just completely ridiculous.

You’re right Laura… why are there so many scams out there still? It’s supply and demand.

While there’s still people willing to believe there’s a magical big red button out there you can press that’s suddenly going to send lots of money from cyberspace somewhere and channel it all into your bank account they’ll be people standing buy selling big red buttons somewhere 🙂

  18. Thanks so much, another great article as ever, thank you so much Simon. Its very sad to note that scams like Explode My Pay Day are still stealing hard-earned monies from innocent people who will be looking for an online breakthrough. I lost a lot of money in the past because of these scams. But that was out of one mistake, I didn’t research well before committing my money.

I wish all people could read reviews like this one before signing up with any program, that would drive the scams away. Unfortunately, people are so desperate for cash that when they read about all those $1000 per hour promises, they forget the importance of researching. Its sad 🙁

    • When I was about 18 and 19 I fell for a lot of scams so I understand the mentality – as you say when you’re in a really difficult place financially and you’re desperately searching Google for an answer, you’ll almost believe anything because you want it to be true so bad.

And I don’t expose scams like this to show people there aren’t ways to make money online – because there are! TONS! (Here’s 7 legit ways for example)

I do it so people can stop wasting time on the rubbish that doesn’t work and instead focus their efforts on the good stuff that will actually make a difference to their bottom line.

The moral of the story is, always do your research 🙂

It seems that desperate people will do anything for their hope on getting rich that blind them from such obvious fakes. But I like how you go in detail about it even if things are so obvious and you expose more details about this website and it’s fake owners. WA is the real thing, it’s creators are proud to present themselves because WA is a real tools platform that offer a real opportunity. Thank you for the review.
