Click 4 Riches Review Scam

Hi, Simon here and welcome to my Click 4 Riches review where we'll find out if Click 4 Riches is a scummy scam or the real deal!

Well done on doing your research before signing up – this is the best way to avoid scams and make real money online.

It's easy to think that because it's free to get a shot at the grand prize that you've got nothing to lose, but you and I know nothing is ever that straightforward.

So what's the catch?

Here's what I found out:

Click 4 Riches Review At A Glance

About: Click 4 Riches is a website that collects personal data to send promotional offers. They promise you a chance to win $50,000 if you join.

Price: Free

Pros: Nothing.

Cons: Low chance to win the competition, sells your personal data, can get you spammed, no proof of previous winners.

Verdict: Click 4 Riches is not a scam but it's not trustworthy either. Signing up means you're allowing them to sell your information which puts you at risk of identity theft.

What Is Click 4 Riches Exactly?

Click 4 Riches (or C4R) is part of the What If Media Group – a marketing company who specialise in collecting people's contact details so they can send them promotional offers.

They are also the guys behind low-paying survey sites like Inbox Dollars, Inbox Pounds and Daily Rewards, all of which I've reviewed here on the blog in the past.

When you visit Click4Riches.com you'll see one of two landing pages, depending on your location and the time of day. In both cases they offer a completely free entry to a competition where you could win $50,000.

All you have to do is enter your email to sign up and be in with a chance.

is click 4 riches a scam

They say no purchase is necessary to play or win and you have to agree to receiving daily offers via phone and email and be at least 18 to play.

Free is free right? I mean you could be the lucky one and win a life-changing amount of money! So I decided to sign up for myself and see what this is all about.

I entered my email and clicked on next, then I was asked for my full name, my home address (which was a little alarming), phone number and date of birth. I just made these up but I wanted to get on the inside to show you.

I was then redirected to another page which said it was going to show me my entry number and tell if I won, but I had to complete a short survey before I could find out…

my entry number

I clicked ‘Enter Now' to start the survey but that just took me to a blank screen. Then I was asked a yes/no question asking if I wanted to be a PCH winner – I have no idea what PCH stands for but who doesn't want to be a winner?

I clicked ‘Yes!'…

PCH winner quiz

But again, I was taken to a blank screen this time with this error message:

This happened 4-5 times until I noticed a little ‘Skip Offer' button at the bottom of the main page. But then I was taken to more and more offers like entering a competition to win a Samsung Smart TV or answering a quick quiz.

Eventually I was shown my entry number and told I wasn't a winner! Darn it! 🙂

not an instant winner

It seems to me that you're basically giving away your personal contact information and signing up to receive spam email and promotional offers by phone in return for a chance at a $50k prize.

It's pretty smart marketing when you think about it – all you have to do is wave a golden carrot in front of people and they'll happily give you permission to promote to them.

Click 4 Riches Ugly Truths Exposed!

1. You're 750x More Likely To Get Hit By Lightning Than Win The $50K

According to their official contest rules, your chances of winning are just 1 in 75,000,000. Safe to say, the odds are stacked against you!

To put this into perspective you have 1 in a 11,500 chance of winning an Oscar and a 1 in 114,195 chance of being struck by lightning!

2. I Can't Find Any Previous Winners

After spending quite a bit of time scouring the web I'm unable to find any previous winners at all… not even a sniff.

I think this is important because it helps us find out if this is a legitimate competition or a scam operation. The fact they've been running this competition since 2017 and there are no accounts of any previous winners is a HUGE red flag!

3. They WILL Sell Your Personal Information

Remember when I signed up and I had to enter my date of birth, phone number, email and address?

Take a look at their privacy policy and you'll see that by signing up you've agreed that they can lease or sell your personal contact information to any third party they like.

PII = Personally Identifiable Information

This could include telemarketers, direct sales people. This will, inevtiably lead to huge amount of spam hitting your inbox as well as nuisanse calls.

Your personal information will be sold off to the highest bidder and now I think we're seeing the real reason behind why Click 4 Riches exists.

4. Click 4 Riches Are The Only Ones Getting Rich

People happily hand over their personal information in return for a 1 in 75 million chance of winning the jackpot, but the real benefactors of this site is the site owners themselves.

They'll be making an absolute fortune from the 100,000's of people freely giving them permission to sell on their contact details as many times as they like.

Is Click 4 Riches A Scam?

Click 4 Riches isn't a scam as technically you do have a 1 in 75 million chance of winning something, but I wouldn't hand over your private contact information either.

Let me put it this way: can you put a price on personal privacy?

Yes, it's free to enter but your inbox will get inundated with spam and you will get sales calls and in the end, you just don't know who your information will be sold to.

Personally, I don't know why you'd want to leave your whole financial future to chance. Not when there are hundreds of legit and guaranteed ways to build an online income.

That's why in 2014 I learned how to create my first website and make money every month through online advertising. After a few months of building up my website I was earning consistent income and within two years I was generating over $7,000 per month.

The exact same training I followed to start earning a passive income online is currently open to new members

The beginner course is FREE and when you join I'll be available for personal support as you build your own business.

  2. I FOUND THIS CONVERSATION BY ACCIDENT, OR WAS I DIRECTED HERE BY THE UNIVERSE. YOU SEE, I AM ON MY WAY, TOMORROW TO TELEPHONE THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION. THIS PAST SUMMER I WON FROM THE SWEEP COMPANIES ALMOST SIX MILLION DOLLARS. MY DAUGHTER WISELY COMMENTED, ‘CALL ME AFTER IT’S DEPOSITED IN THE BANK. I THINK I HAVE LUCKED OUT WITH ‘CLICK FOR THE RICHES,’ BECAUSE THEY HAVENT SENT ME ANY EMAILS PLUS HAVE MADE AN OFFER TO PAY ME OFF. NEGOTIATIONS ARE JUST STARTING. THE STAR OF THE PAYOUTS IS, HANDS DOWN, THE AMERICAN SWEEPSTAKES WHICH INCLUDES MANY COMPANIES. I HAVE JUST BEGUN CONTACTING OTHER SWEEP COMPANIES AND REMAIN HOPEFUL. THERE ARE TWO MAIN PERCEPTIONS OF HOPE. ‘HOPE RUNS ETERNAL,’ AND THERE ‘IS NO SUCH THING AS HOPE.’ KEEP YOUR FINGERS CROSSED FOR ME ON MY ADVENTURE.

    • The best way for beginners to replace their income online is through affiliate marketing where you make money by promoting other people’s products or services.

      It works in 4 steps:

      1) Choose an interest: Pick a topic you like to talk about. This could be anything from gardening to fishing, hiking or languages.

      2) Create a website: This will be your own online real estate and the foundation for your future success. Create helpful and useful content around your topic to help people find answers to questions and solutions to problems.

      3) Get traffic: As you build out your site you will start to attract daily streams of website visitors from the search engines.

      4) Earn Revenue: Once you’ve built an audience you can start to monetise your website by promoting various affiliate programs. Amazon, Walmart, Samsung, Apple, BestBuy etc. all have affiliate programs you can join to start promoting their products and services. Got a website about fitness? Recommend workout gear, home gym equipment, supplements, training programs and so on. There are so many ways to make money with a website that is getting daily traffic.

Wealthy Affiliate has a superb online course that will teach you everything about affiliate marketing. They also have easy-to-use website builders, keyword research tools and a whole community to give you 24/7 expert advice and support. • The whole point of this program is to make you believe you’ll win money by signing up to their email lists so they can send you spammy offers. Do your best to unsubscribe, if that’s not possible at least mark them as spam so their emails go straight to your junk mail folder.

      • Simon, Didn’t you know anytime you buy something online or at stores, they get your personal information when you write a check or use a credit card. Then they turn around and sell yours and other information to any organization willing to pay the money. The only way to escape it is to pay cash. You know something else? You and the Simon from Click 4 Riches has the same first name! “HOW STRANGE”.

  6. I disagree with your whole conversation. First of all you probably stole someone’s phone who was the winner, because you are so damn jealous that you’re not. The poor guy may not have a stable home or a good lifestyle and can’t collect it for what ever reason apparently there looking for someone and I don’t beleive it’s you.I think click 4 riches is real. Good luck on that I hope they find the real winner some day.

  9. I have a question for you. I won the Ellen Show and I have an agent who claims he works for Ellen. It’s been 6 months now, and I’ve given him Google cards. We were told that my winnings were coming! How do I know this guy is from Ellen Show? Because I did officially win on the Ellen Show. Please help me!! Right away!!!

    • Hi Darlene, your comment gives me great cause for concern…

Did this so-called ‘Ellen Show agent’ call you on the phone or contact you via email? Did you buy prepaid Google Play gift cards and send them to him?

This definitely sounds like a scam to me. Please don’t send them any more money.

      Reply
      • Yes, they called me, and said I won the Ellen Show I was so excited. I was so surprised. But I didn’t think it would take to long. This agent Chase Adams, has been working with us for along time, since May 6th, 2018, and it been a long time. We definitely hope it’s not a Scam!!

  10. Can we sue these guys! It says I won the $50000 they have been trying to get a hold of me when I click the link it goes right back into surveys. It says I won on two different emails now.

    • For sure you could sue the parent company ‘What If Media Group’ and you can also report them to the FTC. Who knows how many people are being sucked into giving over their financial information in the hope of ‘winning it big.’

  11. I think all of them are scams because they never send you the money promised they just try to give you crap or they steal your ID when they should send you the money in a company check that you can cash at your bank to have money to pay your bills with or take a vacation !!!

    • Exactly John, they offer sniffs of incentives, make themselves look like a ‘bit of fun’ kind of site then sell your private information for profit.

I hope anyone reading this steers clear from Click 4 Riches or anyone promoting them.

  12. I’ve had about 3 emails now saying ‘Congratulations! You’ve Won!’ but there’s no link, no name, nothing. TOTAL SCAM!

    Reply
    • This is happening a lot – they tell you you’ve won but try and withdraw your winnings and it’s just not going to happen. The only people winning here are the website creators raking in people’s email addresses so they can sell them on to promotional companies!

  13. Thank you for this amazing review, I can’t afford to put  my privacy up for sale and get bombarded with loads of mails and calls. The click 4 riches platform doesn’t appear real because the rewards being promised appears too exergerative. I will rather engage in things that work than to waste my time on the platform. Thank you

  14. From this article I understood that Click 4 Riches is a platform where they collect our personal information and send us promotional offers and for that we get a free ticket to win $50000.

It is nice to know that the chances to win this money is 1 in 75,000,000. And also the fact that you couldn’t find any previous winners proves that this is not worth giving our personal information.

Thank you so much for the heads up.

    • For sure, people think because it’s free to win they can let their guards down but here’s a perfect example of why you should always read the fine print! Nothing in this life comes free 🙂
